Back from Lucca Comics & Games 2018!

Hi!
It’s now eleven in the morning here in Italy, and I’ve finally been able to enjoy a full night of sleep - that had not been possible ever since last Monday.
This Lucca Comic convention has been great, as well as exceptionally tiring. In no particular order:
- Ron Edwards ran a game of Blood Red Blossoms and really liked it. He also invited me to record a talk about it, which I will no doubt share with you once the recording goes public. I am very emotional about this, because while I don’t agree with him on everything, I still consider his opinions extremely precious and relevant. We had a great talk!
- The setting book for The Silence of Hollowind, which I will translate into English over the next months, has sold very well despite being the publisher’s first product. You can find more information here: it’s a system-free setting which will receive conversions for D&D5, Savage Worlds, Fate and more.
- I’ve met some wonderful artists, many of which I hope to involve in some of the games we are developing. Peachmomoko in particular would do an awesome job on Blood Red Blossoms, I think.
- I ate some really good sashimi.
- I had a wonderful bonding experience with all the people in our house (a total of 14!)
- I met Paul Czege and had a very long talk about RPGs and social networks.
- I was happy to find my spoken English isn’t as rusty as I feared.
- I got an estimate of the prices for my new computer and looks like I’ll be able to afford a very good machine.
- I ate some really good hamburgers.
- I slept a total of 14 hours over the entire week and survived.
- I got some kick-ass ideas for Zodiac Echoes and Crimson Crescendo.
Aaaaaand that’s most of it. I’ll be back with more content ASAP!
In the meantime, have a pic of me smoking a pipe!
