2025-12-25 13:21:39 +0000 UTCYou missed the difference… It's not the voltage, but the current, more specific the short circuit current, residential short circuit current can be so low it has trouble tripping a breaker, while commercial short circuit current have no problem making your screwdriver disappear and melt copper busbar without asking twice, in fact not melting but vaporizing copper, so electrocution is the least of your worries, short circuit gives a loud bang that can make you deaf, flash of light that makes you snow blind, and a super hot copper cloud that burn your skin, mouth and troth before ending up in your lungs
