There are many worlds beyond our own, and none so desolate as the Exiled Plane of the Primal Horrors. These twisted and mutated, immortal beings exist in a lifeless world, their fate is cruelly ironic. Without magic there can be no life or death. Just an endless gray eternity where even their pain and blood barely amounts to a drop of mystical energy.
So they fight, tearing each other to shreds and reviving in an endless battle royale. A tortuous ritual under the only obelisk in their world that can grant a path out of exile. Once enough of their tainted blood has spilt, a conduit will open into another reality... Ours.
Having known no other way of life, we often squander our gifts, for our world is filled with magic. Teaming with both life and death, love and hate, and the ethereal elements of power and change.
