Here are all the steps taken to create the lastest reward for Koleyl!
- 1- Early sketch ver 1: The original idea I got was to make this a front view kind of drawing, but midway I started having 2nd thoughts about it.
- 2- Early sketch ver 2: Then I went for a redraw of the 1st sketch showcasing much more perspective from an upper front view! the patreon themselves liked this one as well!
- 3- Sketch: Then I worked on some fixes to make the sketch much more better looking because the last one had a good amount of mistakes, especially on her face.
- 4- Sketch 2: After everything was done for the sketch, I moved on with the layout of the message.
- 5- Final Sketch: After the lastest sketch revision the patreon liked the idea of including speechbubles more rather than a big sign.
- 6- Lineart: Later I included all the clean lines, adding the remaining elements to the mix, such as the crown and the nails along with the bra.
- 7- Flat Colors: Then I included all the flat colors following the design, for the flag though I use a slightly different set of colors (even though the body and the flag share very similar tones)
- 8- Extra details: For this part I decided to use a simple scale texture for the whiter part of the character, and I also drew some scales of my own as well as coloring the lines too.
- 9- Extra effects: Then I added some sparkles and hearts to really show the uplifting nature of the pic!
- 10- Speechbubble: And finally, the message in rainbow colors along with the BG shadows.
