Poll - Pexia's Guide to Omeria Organization

Hey all,

I'm putting the finishing touches to Pexia's Guide to Omeria now and was wondering how you all would like to see the book organized.

Traditionally, most campaign books are organized by Player > Dungeon Master content > Monsters.

I thought I might do something a little different and organize it by regions and include content relative to that region. So each section of the book is like a mini-campaign guide. So for example, it'd be Orbea > Races and Subclasses Specific to Orbea > Monsters Found in Orbea. Naturally, I'd include appendices to help finding the related content.

Let me know which of these two methods you prefer. Thanks!

My understanding is that Frostmaiden was organized by regions ( I was a player, not the DM so I didn't look at the book) and it was near impossible to properly run a game. I think traditional style makes more sense when running a game

While the content might read better the first time through organized by region, ultimately these books are for reference during a game, and during a game having content arranged alphabetically in sections that one might traditionally expect will be the best for helping people find the content in a pinch. On the other hand, if the location sections are small enough themselves and relatively about the same number of pages each, a DM knowing his game is in the Orbea section could probably quickly find the content needed since he could jump to that area and ignore the rest of the tome. And basically for DM's that use the PDF or online to search it won't matter because of search / links.

Why not have a Traditional Style but within each section the information is organized by region. For example in the monster section, monsters are separated by regions. You would have a section called monsters of Orbea and then you have the monsters for that region in CR order or something then have the next region monsters of .... I don't see the value in mixing Player, DM and monster content but I do like the idea of sorting content by region within their respective categories.

I am good with either, as long as there is an easy way in an index or table of contents to find it
