[#266] The Spray

"No no no, anything but that, please! I'll be good, I'll be goo-"

She grabbed me by the back of the hair and pulled my head back. She'd warned me against my defiance, that if even after the diaper, and the clothes, the mittens, the helplessness she'd forced upon me, she'd warned me that there was worse she could be doing. I hadn't listened then, and boy did I wish I had.

My wrists were locked to the belt around my waist, and I couldn't move my hands more than an inch in any direction.  So I threw my body around in a tantrum, hoping to knock the woman off balance or maybe break one of the many restraints she put on me.  But she handled me with striking efficiency, holding up a spray bottle to my mouth, and spritzing a light mist onto my tongue.

My first thought was that it would taste awful.  But it didn't.  It tasted like water, with a touch of lemon.  Then my eyes started to water and my thrashing simmered to wiggles.  My wrists fell limply against the restraints and I felt my body slump into hers.

She had such a kind smile... how could someone who looked so sweet be so awful?

"We're going to just have to wash that sass right outta you, aren't we? We can't have those kinds of errant rebellion just kicking around waiting for a chance to bloom, so out they go."

What was she saying? My body felt so heavy, and my head felt so light. What..

She let me go and my whole body slid to the floor.  I tried to hold myself up, or to wiggle in place, but nothing worked.  I could send the commands from my brain to move around, but my body didn't get them.  I was stuck.  Immobile.  Helpless.  But I could feel the heat pooling between my legs as I started to wet my diaper.

My mouth hung open, mid-sentence, but I couldn't force any words to come out.  Droplets of drool spilled down my chin.  What had she done to me?!  My eyes were alight with fear.

"I wonder what it's like in there?" she cooed, turning her head to one side, "I wonder when the rebellion becomes curiosity becomes fear becomes horror, and then nothing, as you realize with each passing second that you're losing things... you've lost how to walk, you've lost how to talk, you've lost how to hold your water at long last... but I doubt you'll ever lose your inner fire... it'll just be stuck inside you, where it belongs, coloring your cheeks..."
