quick updates 4.29.25

hey everyone!!! hope your week is off to a good start. i’m personally still coming off the release of the Michael Jackson DDD — that video had been in the works since late last year, and it’s great to finally have it out in the world. even with all the difficult subject matter, i still really enjoyed making it and i hope you all enjoyed it.

anyway, a couple quick updates from me:

first of all — thank you for being here!! the response to this Patreon starting up has blown away my expectations. i’m immensely grateful to all of you who have joined.

UPCOMING VIDEOS

now that MJ is done, what’s next? the next video will be out this week — just a quick update so i can share some personal news that impacts the channel. (nothing bad or serious, in fact it’s quite exciting!)

after that is a pseudo-sequel to my CD listening experiment last year. back in january, i listened to only radio for the whole month. i’ve been sitting on notes and footage from that for a while now, and i finally wanna get it made.

i’m also doing an interview piece soon, sorta like the NPR Tiny Desk video i did late last year. this one will be focused on an advocacy group that provides live sound professionals with mental and physical health resources.

and lastly for now, the next DDD. i promise this one will not take as long as the MJ DDD lol — i’ve started proper pre-production on it yesterday, and i’m currently aiming for a release sometime in mid to late June. i chose that timing because it’s right around the time the band kicks off their first tour in over a decade wink wink nudge nudge :)
