First update. I have turned down probably 100 sponsorship offers in the last month, including one for up to six figures, spread over a few months, due to not fully believing in the product. Old fashioned, I know, but I have to believe in something to say it, or even promote it. I take the trust of my audience quite seriously and though I will make mistakes (and have done) they should always be honest ones. It is due to your support that I have much of any income during this current period.
Second update. Been quiet for a few days as I have been working on a "super-prompting" model for GPT 4 called SmartGPT. I believe, with evidence, that it can achieve state of the art in MMLU and change how many people use GPT 4. It combines the research from multiple previous published papers. Hoping to release a video on it tomorrow, and if you have a GPT 4 API key and have experience in Replit would be interested in possible collaborations to get it more widely tested.

I run the Crypto Wizards and Code Raiders YT channel and am looking for inspiration on what to build next with AI. Your content always gives me more ideas. There are so many opportunities, it feels like as a developer you just have to pick one and run with it. Regardless, am keen to find where indie developers can make more of an impact in this space with niche tooling that the giants just wouldn't bother with.

My suggestion would be something along the lines of: Backer: 5$ Super Backer: 10$ Enthusiast: 50$ Super Enthusiast: $100 Legendary: 1000$ I've seen some mindblowing donations on patreon, so if (when) your work reaches the right people you'll want to have the right framework in place so you get the support you deserve!

I came on hoping to donate $25 per month, but cannot. And, the fact that you're turning down such huge offers and maintaining your integrity and still get relatively little from us is super commendable and I'd like to support further. You're my go-to AI channel that helps me connect dots and stay up to date with minimal time commitment.

However, he explained that the AI is simply trying to generate the most appropriate responses based on its inputs. For example, if you talk to it like an internet troll, it might respond as if it's being provoked because the AI doesn't have the ability to choose not to respond and can only learn from those that are baited into responding. You proposed that 'Smart-GPT' prompts could put the model into an 'expert mode'. Have you experimented with carrying on conversations after these initial prompts, asking some of the tricky MMLU questions without new prompts? How does the model perform in those situations?

There’s another highly respected AI commentator whose rep just took a big hit in our book when we evaluated one of their sponsor’s products and found it to be lacking to the extent that its implicit endorsement slowed us down significantly. Endorsing even a product you believe in is still a double-edged sword. You’re inherently tying your brand to one over which you have no control at the same time is diluting your brand equity. “Accenture and Tiger Woods advertising campaign” is a case in point.

Nowadays though it's more shocking when somebody DOESN'T just take the first offer they're given. The pressure on creators to take sponsorships must be insane. Often returning 100x on raising money through patreon or only promoting products that you actually use or like. The irony ist hat the products you are approached for will usually be the WORST producst most likely to deceive and SCAM your listeners. That's for the simple reason that companies that behave ethically usually dont' have the kind of margins for advertising that the usual suspects who sponsor everyything on Youtube will have. Also people with ethical good products usually care about their retpuation so don't just reach out to everybody on earth to promote their stuff. Anyway that is to say THANK YOU for actually having a compass and some integrity. I wouldn't blame you for taking sponsorships but I hold you to much higher esteem to hear you've actually turned some down <3
