GBCR Poll #5: Side Character Scene
Added 2023-05-14 21:44:04 +0000 UTCHello! It's been many days since the last poll. This time, the poll is about the side character scene. Before that, I want to point out that the second half of the game will feature so much character and area in the world of Konosuba. The second half of the game's main scene will be focused on the Trio, Wiz, Chris, Yunyun, and Iris.
I know it's such a waste if only the main seven girls get a scene. So, let's settle this with a poll. This poll won't change their appearance, every side character will still appear, it's just that they won't have a scene. Sorry, I didn't include the original game characters because I don't have a clue about them, so they won't appear in the game.
Also, the next update will be up on around 18-20 May. It's a bit late, I am really sorry about that!

Something a lot of people seem to ignore is, if you vote no side characters, that's it, there's never going to be another NTR game based on Konosuba so it'll never happen. The devs have already show they're good at getting releases out on schedule, so I feel adding scenes in here with side characters is a nice fleshing out of a world that is otherwise pretty empty.

I don't want to meddle, I just want to say: I think those that vote for: Anime + LN (Above + Cecily, Claire, Rain, etc.) Would rather vote for "Anime Only", than "No Side Characters", and that you would take that into consideration. Because if you look at it like that, the competition is actually pretty close. This is just my opinion tho, feel free to ignore me.

Hopefully your vision and from my perspective- growing ambitions with new characters I didn't know were going to exist until this post-.. can be realized and doesn't get too crazy and hard to manage.

"More importantly, the corruption factor is still about time or avoidance." There will be so much more to consider to determine if you can save all of them or if all of them just succumbed. For seven heroines, some of them are connected with each other, even side characters will play a part and become a key in the story on either helping you or the reverse. So yeah, it will keep played like the first part where you can feel "satisfaction in saving something and still getting those other scenes." but with just more different complicated system and lots of loss and betrayal. I think the second half of the game will be much more impactful from a Kazuma-only perspective because you don't know what's going on at all. Don't worry, there will be enough scenes for Kazuma-only perspective run to enjoy. Thank you!

2023-05-15 15:29:22 +0000 UTCIf focusing on the main characters gives more effort on them with scenes/details/animation quality in general etc. Think that's the obvious choice for me. 7 heroines is a lot for a harem game- and it's arguably way too much for an NTR game. Each heroine is less impactful scenes for the rest- which NTR should focus on being- rather than just eroticism in the sex acts.. the actual flavor of NTR is a factor of jealousy- teasing and a bit of loss. Which- how are you going to be jealous if one part of your harem decides to go off- and you have 6 others. Kazuma is getting so much out of any deal that happens here he shouldn't have any right to complain. More importantly is still the corruption factor being about time or avoidance. Is it a matter of time until all the heroines eventually succumb- or is it possible putting all effort to focus on one heroine to save them completely and actually build a relationship without them being NTR'd in an NTR route.. or will that be a non-ntr exclusive thing. Like the idea of inviting to quest = foiling johns plans and thus not building corruption for that day. especially if you're adding more heroines who likely will not be invited the same way- there is still plenty of scenes that will be unavoidable in an NTR route even if you play it with serious attempts to protect everyone. Aside from the actual combat of the game- the true design should be how to keep the heroines in such a route.-while still enjoying when you fail due to mostly RNG and your own errors. Maybe with future chars- who you meet first and start doing quests with assuming they have their own story segments decides the one who is saved- though much simpler and not as satisfying as what you can do with the main trio and the recruitment phase.. it's still unable to save all- but satisfaction in saving something for NTR fans- and still getting those other scenes. Hoping there is some more scenes created in mind for those wanting to play as only kazumas perspective as well. The ones that exist being the random NTR events after certain corruption levels- but it should feel like a route on its own rather than a view of 3 or 4 short events and that being the end of a heroines actions for that perspective.
