I'm still reading the bug reports you guys make, and i'm actively investigating on how to fix them, so please bear with me!
I'm also showing some love and care for Yakuza 5 co-op, which didn't have the fancy cool systems that the Yakuza 0 mod has, i have recently rewrote the game to use Y0 co-op code which will make it far more stable, and makes it easier for me to identify bugs.
But amongst the middle of it i have been cooking something much bigger, i am in the process of adding random encounters to Haruka's chapter. The idea is simple, Haruka uses a weaker moveset that focuses on buffing and assisting Kasuga, but can still perform simple attacks and heat actions. I'm not fully decided on how her combat will play out yet, but i'm flip flopping between making her impossible to get hit/recieve dmg or make her take 1.5-2x damage and turn it into some kind of protection battle like Makoto in Y0, what do you think her role should be?
Also Kiwami 3 got leaked, so that's exciting too! Looking forward to RGG Summit myself

2025-09-22 10:40:47 +0000 UTCShe will have her own moves and heat actions herself, she is not going to be a pushover, and my idea of making her weaker than the other protagonists isn't because she's a woman, more so because she's 16 who has almost never thrown a punch in her life and mostly observed others

However RGG has changed with times and introduced many LAD women characters that can not only defend themselves but also go offensive. So Haruka should should still be able to have low to moderate offense along with defense skills!
