Why the XP Rework?

We've listened to your feedback and analyzed player data, and we realized that the previous XP progression system wasn't quite hitting the mark in terms of realism and long-term engagement. It was too easy to level up quickly, especially in the early stages of the game, which diminished the sense of accomplishment and the feeling of a true career progression.

This new XP system is designed to provide a more gradual and balanced progression, ensuring that you truly earn your stripes as you climb the ranks of the trucking industry. It also aligns better with the overall goals of the Hardcore Edition, which is to provide a challenging and authentic trucking experience that reflects the real-world dedication and effort required to succeed in this demanding profession.

Key Changes:

• Extended Training Phase: The early levels now require significantly more XP to complete, ensuring that you spend ample time honing your skills and building your experience before progressing to more advanced stages of your career.

• Gradual Progression: The XP curve has been adjusted to provide a smoother and more gradual progression throughout the entire game, preventing sudden jumps in difficulty and ensuring a consistent challenge.

• Milestone Alignment: The XP requirements are now better aligned with key milestones in a trucker's career, such as reaching the first year of experience, obtaining higher-value cargo contracts, and expanding your fleet.

• Long-Term Engagement: The revised XP system encourages long-term engagement with the mod, providing a sense of continuous progression and accomplishment as you gradually unlock new opportunities and challenges.

Recommended Mod:

To enhance your beta testing experience, we recommend using the following mod:

• GPS for Quick Jobs by Duke Leto: This mod adds a portable GPS navigator to quick job trucks, improving immersion and navigation until we can fully integrate this feature into the Economy Mod. Be sure to enable this mod when creating your profile, placing it above the economy mod

Installation Instructions:

• Download the mod file from the Google Drive link above.

• Place the .scs file in your ETS2 mod folder (Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod).

• Launch ETS2 and activate the mod in the Mod Manager.

• Start a new profile to experience the full effect of the XP rework.

• Place the mod in the correct order within the mod manager (refer to the mod description for specific instructions).

• Apply changes in the Mod Manager. You MUST enable the mod before starting your ew profile.

Feedback Instructions:

• Play and Observe: Play the game with the mod enabled, paying close attention to the XP progression and skill unlocks.

• Provide Detailed Feedback: Share your feedback through the designated channels (e.g., Discord, forum). Include the following information:
