Hey everyone, 

I (Sascha) have had a lot of patrons reach out wanting to know where you can follow my new adventures. Raf and I have restarted 'Spear It Animal' together and boy do we have a lot of work ahead of us. We have begun posting weekly episodes on YouTube and Patreon as well. 

Check out our first intro episode together and follow the journey of us bringing life back to a sinking sailboat before we head  back out for more sailing, spearing fishing, freediving, flotilla's, and so much more!

Life Update [S2:E71]

We had a zoom call a couple weeks ago with an in person update of our lives currently. We know many of you were not able to attend and we had an issue with our video recording, so we were not able to upload it. It took a couple weeks, but here is a fresh update for you all on where we will be going next with our lives.

We have finally put together a short update video! But to start we have a short recap of this past year and all our favorite moments.  

We want to thank all of you for all your support and positive comments! We're both young and life changes and that's ok! We hope you all continue to follow our life's adventure as we continue to make our dreams happen!!  We love you all!!

We will continue to post episodes here and there on our adventures and especially when we are doing trips together. If you would like to follow Sascha's new adventure, she will be running Spear It Animal together with Raff and they will start posting episodes in the next month of the boat refit!

You were all curious as to how Sascha got her black eye?! Well better watch to find out!! What a whirlwind of a trip we are having heading back to the States. It's bittersweet spending the last week with our friends before we all head off in different directions 😢 Watch for some Photography stills and behind the scenes footage. We enjoy celebrating a birthday and our last time as a group together before we part ways.

Sailing in ROUGH SEAS to The Bahamas. Is this our first PIRATE EXPERIENCE?!! [S2:E65]

Hello Everyone!  We finally say goodbye to the Dominican Republic and sail back to The Bahamas, but the weather doesn't want to make it easy for us. We have a long swelly sail to Little Inagua. The surprises don't end there, we have our first potential pirate experience, but it turns out to be the Bahemian Military with no marked uniforms in a black dingy with AK-47's. That was an interesting experience... Let us know what you think and how you would've dealt with the experience!

How IMPORTANT is an OIL CHANGE?! Girls explore 27 WATERFALLS with Sailing ZOLA!!! [S2:E64]

It's our last week in the Dominican Republic and we're finishing up some last minute projects before we head back to The Bahamas and then back to Florida. We meet some other fellow sailors you may recognize, Sailing Zola, and head back to the 27 Waterfalls to try out a more difficult waterfall course and have a blast!! We had a fun local group during the hike and it was a great time. Stay tuned for next week when we sail back the The Bahamas and some crazy stuff goes down...

Hello Everyone!

Once we sailed into Little Inagua, we stayed a couple days and half the group left us since they were motoring across Turks and Caicos and Spear It Animal and us The Far Side girls were looking for more of a sailing weather window. We sailed up to northern Little Inagua for a night where we hit the conch motherload!! From there we sailed to French Cay, officially leaving The Bahamas and entered Turks and Caicos to stage up for our Dominican Republic crossing. We crossed the Turks and Caicos banks to stage up at Big Ambergris Rock where we will leave and head straight to the Dominican Republic! Hope you enjoy this weeks episode!!

The whole buddy boat group leaves Long Cay and heads to Acklins to stage up to cross to Great Inagua. In this episode we take you along on how we prepare the boat for longer crossings, getting the outboard engine up, the dingy up on the foredeck, and then the general sail prep we do.
