July Build-A-Sequence Question 2: Final Form

An elusive thief with a permanent injury and a strong desire to help those less fortunate. (details/gender pending)
We'll revisit the details about our main character in a question or two, but FIRST:

2022-07-10 15:41:01 +0000 UTCA forgotten bird-like creature from the age of gods. Humanoid. Made of living, semi-molten glass. Maintains balance and justice amongst men. 140 characters exactly! This started as a simple idea that sounded interesting to me. 'A glass golem creature'. But it kept evolving in my head and I kept typing more. I had to cut it down a lot to fit it into the character limit. I've included the original text below. Its pretty roughly written. When I have time, I usually try to go through and rewrite / rearrange / repunctuate things to make it easier / more pleasant to read - But I didn't feel like it this time. Hopefully its not too bad. A forgotten bird-like creature from the age of gods. Humanoid. Like a harpy, in a vague sense, but more regal. Made of living glass that melts and solidifies as needed to allow for movement while maintaining its shape. Emits a faint red internal glow that intensifies with activity and diminishes with rest as the glass gets more or less molten. Could almost be mistaken for a statue when standing still, save for the glow of their heart visibly beating in their chest. Due to their weight (and having glass plates in place of feathers on their wings) they are flightless. Though their agility might make you think otherwise. These creatures were originally tasked with maintaining balance and justice for all who reside within the realm of man. A task they held sacred. They even stood against the gods themselves to ensure this task was done. An act that - while successful - cost these creatures everything. Their lives were taken. Their bodies were destroyed. And all memory that they had ever existed was wiped from the world.
