Commission Opening News

Hi Everyone!

I have some news about the commission opening this week (And I will also link to this patreon post from my site when I do the update).

I've been planning for the past few months to open my commission lists This Sunday, Feb 28 at 6pm CST.
I picked the day not only because it's the last day of the month, but I wanted to pick a day that I was planning so far out that I was't likely to be called to go to set (we've never worked on a Sunday in the past).

Well, joke's on me - I am, as it turns out, going to be going to set that Sunday.  However, I've been planning this opening time for three months and I know some of you may also be planning around it, so I am not changing the time. 

So here's how it's going to go down:

- I will do the actual site update early (which involves me adding all the new art for the month) - it might be Friday or Saturday
- Commission slots will still open at 6pm CST on Sunday Feb 28 regardless of whether I am home at the time or not.   There will thus not be an OPEN notice beyond the information on my site that they open at 6pm Sunday.  
     - If I get home before 6pm CST, great, I'll watch the emails as they come in and close slots when I need to.  
    - if I don't get home before 6pm CST, I will immediately update the site to reflect slots are closed when I get home.  (so there won't be an open note, but there will change the wording to make it obvious they are closed.

Like in the past, anyone who sends me an email inquiry about commissions before I update the site to say that the slots have closed will be given a spot reservation.  

It may take me a day or two to respond to all of the emails because I anticipate coming back from set exhausted.  But as long as you SEND the initial email inquiry before I close the slots, you are good.  You got the email in in time to get a spot on my reserve list.

After this, since it has taken me right up to opening commissions to finish my last round of commissions, I plan on taking a week off of art work!

This might sound complicated, and I have a tendency to over explain.  But
TL;DR:

- Commission Slots will still open at 6pm CST Sunday Feb 28
- anyone who sends an email before the site says COMMISSIONS CLOSED has a reserved slot.
- It may take me a day or two to respond to the email, so don't panic if you don't hear back before you see the closed notice
- approved clients will have until March 7 to send payment or they lose their reservation
