AutomaBot Test
Added 2023-03-14 17:50:16 +0000 UTCA crude test to be a final proof of concept to show that without a doubt the original Maillardet Automaton writing instrument was indeed a fine brush pen. Here we see my repurposed commercial robot arm drawing a rendering of one of the Maillardet poems with a simple modern Sakura Pigma Brush pen. I do wonder if I will ever see the real Maillardet Automaton set up and properly aligned to do a set of renderings with a proper brush pen so that it can finally render all of its drawings in the original variable line widths. However, in the meantime my AutomaBot project seeks to recreate some of that wonder by drawing in real time some vector files of the Maillardet Automaton's early mechanical cam renderings.
