Project Egress: FranLab Mission Log 2

My second mission log for Project Egress where I bring Scott Kip of Wanamaker Organ fame on board and I start making the tools I'll need and Scott starts prepping the wood that I will be using to construct my Apollo 11 Command Module hatch latch assembly.

These components look similar to the geodesic clamps town pump was making. This is an A+ idea, AvE might be happy to do it.

Fran, Let me know if you want a bunch of 1980-1984 "Computer Music" magazines (MIT press) that have a number of forgotten analog circuit designs for various instruments/affects and their mathematical forms. I also have the vinyl records that come with them. FOR FREE!

Heh Fran. Interesting project . For a metal version you may want to look at AVE's channel . He has an open invitation for people to submit projects/parts for his "town-pump" Haas milling machine that he has acquired and set up. Just an idea ...... Good luck

I like your red phone. I have one just like it, a Western Electric from the late 1960s!

I'm getting real psyched for the anniversary seeing all of the efforts of folks to recognize this event. Can't wait to see all of the results. Kudos to you for pausing your projects to contribute to this one!!!

I was feeling a little lost, until after I watched the video I clicked the link you conveniently posted. Awesome project, and good luck. I have worked with oak, black walnut and cherry and I think that b-w is the way to go. But you have an expert advising you - I am just along for the enjoyable ride. Looking forward to seeing how this takes shape!

Nice that list of contributors - hope Tony's cat and OxTool Uncle Bozo didn't mess up things lol
