Fuji SQ6 Instax vs. Polaroid 330 Land Camera!

Pace yourself - this is a "full feature length" FranLab!   I'm going deep into these cameras for a total shootout comparing all features inside and out.  And soldering!  How could I get into soldering in a video all about cameras?  And taking and developing photos!  So much to see and do - So FranLab.  Enjoy!

Fran, more like the digital temp age. One mistake, one virus, or one failed drive and decades of work could be erased, it happens everyday.

Agreed, we're probably the last generation to have physical photos. I've been hitting up family to send me their photo albums, so I can digitize them, but the originals stay with me along with any documentation about who the people were in the photos.

It's the digital dark age - 200 years from now most photographs and negatives could still exist (if they are preserved) while all the camera photos and snaps on hard drives - and yes, even the internet - will likely no longer exist.

Not worried.... ecstatic! Without your pioneering venture into the Instax cameras Id've not even known they existed. You made ME buy one!

I got my thumb smashed by the door swinging open while filming... had to stop the video camera while I cursed and jumped up and down. All part of the beauty of it.

Hi Fran, my only question is , yes I love all that great chemical time (still have a dark room & poison chemicals) I think as you said in this day & age why would be using wasteful & pollution agents when simple digital camera options, the result is immediately available, accepted or rejected with the minimum impact on the environment. Please not criticising, do the same myself

Hi Techmoan, actually loved the link & learnt some stuff, anyway a bit of respect these day's is rare.

I wouldn't worry about putting a link to my video - it doesn't offer anything extra and you know much more about this subject than I do. My recent forays into point & shoot photography have taught me that it's not something my subscribers are too interested in.

I have the remote cable release, I forget which models I have. I just remember the rear hatch shutting on my hand many times. I do also have an original flash, with a huge 6v battery.
