Lots Going On at FranLab

Hello Everybody!   A lot is going on in the background at FranLab right now and though I have not wanted to be in front of the camera these past weeks I am working feverishly every day on a number of simultaneous projects.  I have published a couple videos recently on the ongoing clock project, and that one needs one good final push to put it all together.  I am  also midway through another project that I had hoped to have completed last week for the 49th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moonwalk but numerous setbacks have put the completion of that project off till next month most likely.  I also have two other projects that are in the process of coming together slowly, and no spoilers, but I'm putting a great many hours into projects that I can't talk about or update on, much like if I were to try to keep you up to date on the long and difficult progress of getting you that great birthday present in advance, rather than explaining it over cake and smiles.  The cake is not a lie!  These projects will come to fruition!  They will most likely and in all probably should work!  Very likely.  Anyway, working today on setting up a new little corner of the lab for shooting small project videos and updates.  To date I have not really had a dedicated space just for doing that, and I realized that much of my procrastination in making content stemmed from that difficulty and time of basic set up for each video I have to shoot.  So, trying to tackle that too.

Reading between the lines (for clues to the 'secret project') I'm getting fruit-cake ;-)

Glad to hear you've been busy. Sorry about the setbacks. Excited to see the new projects once they're ready!

looking forward to the videos, always get a good enjoyment watching them :-)

Life gets in the way sometimes, we all know that. Don’t push yourself just for us, it’s OK to put your own well-being first. :)

Typically I spend a few days planning, shooting, and editing even the shortest videos. The big projects can have hundreds of hours condensed into a 30 minute video.

Hey Fran... Thanks for the rolling update! Guess you’re definitely a busy bee then. Your videos are always well shot, produced and so on.....so it’s hard to believe it’s a struggle for you to make them? So all the more credit for battling through the difficulties and making them work.
