Missy Cat
Added 2018-07-02 16:36:48 +0000 UTCI have to take some time from the camera to deal with the passing of my beloved companion of 9 years, Missy Cat. She was a unique soul, with a true lion heart. I often called her Micro Tiger.... she was so proud to be a cat. I knew that she would never want to be anything but who she was. So proud.
She was with me through some of the worst days of my life.... and she was always there for me. She was my best friend - a lab cat in the truest sense - and not ever anything but her own sentient self. She was a wild animal who made a conscious choice to spend her life with me in July of 2009, and for that I am eternally grateful. She picked me to be her human. So rare in this life to have a true friend like that - in any species.
We had a pact to be with each other in good times and bad, till death do us part..... and I was there with her to the very end this morning.
Missy was a rescue, and if you would like to send condolences, please do so in the form of a donation in honor of Missy to the ASPCA. Support local shelters - and adopt rescued animals. They need you.

The loss was devastating to me - like you, I had some horrible times and Genna got me through. I almost believe God brought her to me in a timely fashion, because the first incident was a month after I got her. Prior to Genna, I would not understand what you are going through - but now I do. Cherish the good memories of Missy Cat. Animals are such a blessing.
