Dev Diary, March 21st, 2025
Added 2025-03-21 13:00:18 +0000 UTCAs I've mentioned before, not every week is spent entirely in Daz Studio, posing renders. This week, I had to attend to several other matters.
In short, I've renewed my music licenses, completed the accounting report for last year, and had some initial talks with voice actors for the game. This is not for voice acting all the dialogues but to add some more immersion to the NSFW scenes. If you have any favorite NSFW voice actors you'd like me to reach out to, please feel free to mention them in the comments.
I've also been working on the trailer for the full season 1 release, and I'm about halfway done. It does take quite a bit of animations to fill it; due to extensive crossfading between scenes, I need about 4 minutes of animations for a 2-minute trailer. Because of this, I'm adding a few SFW animations to give the episode 4 scenes a more cinematic feel.

But for next week, I'm jumping back into the Daz saddle, where Nyah needs some attention. After that, Jackie.

Music plays a major role in your games, it supports the events in the game in a special way. That's certainly how it will be with voice acting. I didn't even know artists like James Forest, Jay Danton, DayFox and many others and now their songs are playing in my car. I think it's good that you give them another stage with your games to make their music known.

I said it before I'm not a big fan of voice acting in NSFW scenes only and voice acting if it's for the whole thing, has to be done really good for me to be on board. That said I'd rather have voice acting for regular scenes (I'm aware it's too much to ask). Sure it will add to the immersive aspect so I'm not entirely opposed but I don't think it's necessary, that's all I'm saying. Guess we'll see.

As I wrote in another post, I live in Germany and therefore can't get these great games in Steam. But I bought "Leap of Faith" in GOG. So I hope that your other games, including u4ia, will also be available for purchase in GOG. You are doing a great job with your team, thanks for this!

2025-03-21 13:26:59 +0000 UTCI'm looking into voice acting since it's been requested more and more frequently, and thought I'd add some moans here and there. And I'll assign them to a new sound level slider in preferences so you can change the volume or turn it off completely.

It'll always sound artifical and fake no matter the actor and I'd much rather continue to just enjoy your impeccable music taste in the scenes. Can you at least give us the option to disable them if you go ahead with this?
