T800 2/2 Base
Added 2025-05-22 18:00:05 +0000 UTCAfter painting the Terminator using straightforward, beginner-friendly techniques that still deliver a stunning result, it’s time to bring the base to life. I’ve continued with the same accessible and enjoyable approach, ensuring that anyone can follow along and achieve a great outcome.
While more advanced techniques could certainly be used, my goal has always been to make this project approachable for hobbyists of all levels.
For instance, when it comes to painting fire, I’ve developed a simplified method that cuts down the usual 15 to 20 steps to just 5 or 6,still producing a visually striking effect. It may not be the most realistic fire ever, but considering how easy it is, the result is genuinely impressive.
This video wraps up the work on this figure, but the journey doesn’t end here, a new adventure is just around the corner.
In this episode, we’ll paint the base. While the previous video was aimed at a beginner level, this one includes a few elements that require a bit more finesse. Even so, I’ve done my best to keep the process as simple and approachable as possible.
