Re: Alain’s pt about ditching a mindset of reading as many books as possible. I think Joel misses the larger pt. It’s not that too many people are like alcoholics for books, but the attitude “maximalism” instills is one that builds a toxic mindset which pervade a lot of communities online. I know many of entrepreneur Twitter talk abt “getting the most wisdom per word” in each book they read and Alain’s proposal is to counteract that. Still ironic af tho, I think Joel’s point is well-taken there
