Today marks my first whole year in France after my time in America and I am ready to move on. I tortured myself a countless of times about all the things I did wrong and all the love I could have gave better.
But it is now time to let go and make peace with this part of my life. And because I love being extra, I decided to do it through art, with this photo series called "Faded Memory".
This series of pictures I took while travelling in the US was manipulated to replace the people by their glowing unrecognizable shape, to recenter the narrative of my memories, on a judgement-free way.
I am now ready to look at these moments as what they are, just another beautiful step in my life, that doesn't define me or the people who shared them with me. This chapter is now closed, to make room for the next ones.
I decided that I won't release this series on my public social media, for many reasons. I don't want any drama or to hurt anyone's feelings, and I am afraid seeing this series could provoke negative emotions to some people, which I respect.
So here it is, and I hope you'll like it.
