So whilst you are a blacksmith by trade as the protagonist, and will have a very unique anvil, the world would still need a location to smelt the ores, and villages would have their own blacksmiths.
My idea for the lewd interaction with this NPC is that the smelting fire is activated by an increase in body heat. What better way to do this, than.... you know ;)
