while true for some, its not the same for everyone. a lot of people with type 2 require insulin so that scene was accurate.

2025-08-09 05:12:30 +0000 UTCI might be wrong but I think there was a factual error in the doctor scenes. Type 1 diabetes requires insulin, not type 2. My grandparents both had type 2 and they never needed insulin or passed out. They barely even took their blood sugar, all they had to do was take meds and they were perfectly regulated. Unless medical advancements were made after the events took place
