2023-08-24 01:45:26 +0000 UTCThe ancient human-mushroom evolution could've worked the same way it works today: our ancestors liked the effects of certain mushroom so they cultivated them. So the yum yum consciousness so good chemicals were extreamily copy-worthy evolutionary adaption from the mushroom perspective, because the weak monkeys with pathetic body hair growth spread, protected and well-fed them. This doesn't also exclude the possibility that the mushroom consciousness was doing it deliberately. The way some fungi take control of insect behaviour imply that the mushroom kind has the potential capability to interact with animal consciousness in order to further their own ends. Obviously many people also have had direct personal experiences of interacting with mushroom consciousness... When I ate magic truffels, I was asked by them to stop the construction style where huge machines tear open huge areas of land. That is pure mycelium massacre! I had to answer that I was sorry, but having that kind of influence was beyond my capabilites but srsly plz stop the mycelium massacre
