So you’d rather her leave them to be treated cruelly under the rule of the Masters? It’s like whatever choice there is it won’t be enough to make up for whatever the Unsullied have been thru. Serving Daenerys thru “choice” is infinitely better than the lives they’ve lived previously. As we can see they finally feel pride in their identity in the next episode where they choose to keep their names that they had when Daenerys freed them from bondage. One of the most morally good scenes in both book and show and people still seem to make issues out of nowhere 😂

2025-08-27 20:24:28 +0000 UTCI might be one of the very very few here, but Danaerys' act of freeing the unsullied never really sit well with me. They have been completely converted into a walking robot. They never had an identity (or remembered any) and they just know how to follow. I dont think any of them knew what they will even do if they left Danaerys at the end when she was making the speech. Ofcourse they would "choose" to fight for her because all the choices they know are Danaerys.

2025-08-20 04:19:09 +0000 UTCAround 12 years ago, I watched the scene where Daenerys truly unleashed her Targaryen strength for the first time. It gave me such deep chills. Now, over a decade later, watching it again still sends shivers down my spine. That’s how powerful and timeless this scene is.

2025-08-09 18:48:41 +0000 UTCJaime remembering to be more knightly honorable his core ideal and oaths being friends/lover with Brienne the height of knighthood honor isn't some redemption 180 change forgetting his TWIN family love from the womb is his mind heart, he's viewed as victim of forced marriage abuse to Robert Baratheon, they both with Tyrion victims to mental physical abuse from Tywin (flowers in the attic) and isolated rich elite family.
