Felt good to cry through this movie again and hear new thoughts and takes on the characters. Worth every minute. I hope someday that Re Zero is featured on the channel, it's a great anime, but I would really love to see his thoughts on Subaru (likely the best written character development psychologically of any show I've ever seen)

2025-10-17 12:07:18 +0000 UTCI believe this movie was based off of a real life scenario. Sadly I think Ishida (I don't know his real-life name) passed after saving Nishamiya... Either way, this movie was a groundbreaking watch for me. When I was young I lost four people in my family that were super close to me; unfortunately, I didn't seek for help and I was on the verge of ending it all. Thankfully I have close friends that brought me out of that hole, and I have a loving mother that helped me out of that same hole. Now, I'm very appropriative of living on and watching this movie helped me get out of that dark place even more. Everyone should be happy to live. No one should think about ending ties in their life.

2025-08-09 16:55:13 +0000 UTCThe stains on the mom's shirt were blood stains, they don't really elaborate on it but it's infered that either the girls mom ripped it off her ear(like how sho did to shoko with her hearing aid) or his mom did it herself as a apology.

2025-08-09 16:53:24 +0000 UTCI burst out laughing at your double take when she said ”my daughter’s husband”, but that is pretty much what she said in Japanese too 😂 She said ”He is my oldest child’s husband” because she has an older daughter who is Maria’s mother (you can see her at the festival in the final part when Shoya uncovers his ears). Maria is Shoya’s niece lol
