2025-08-11 22:16:25 +0000 UTCMaybe I’m just a hard person. I can’t muster the sympathy for Cat that others have. Her story is touching on the surface, but what I see is her making everything about herself. She doesn’t feel remorse for how she treated Jon. She feels sorry for herself that now she has to pay for it (under her belief system) She was born and raised privileged. She was lucky enough to have almost no loss or sorrow most of her life. But rather than being grateful that she had a good man for a husband and all of her children were alive and healthy, she chose to be mad that she had to see her husband’s bastard child every day and treated him badly his whole life. She’s like a grown version of the spoiled 13 yr old Sansa we met at Winterfell. She loves her children, good for her. But that alone doesn’t make her a good or sympathetic person for me.

2025-08-09 14:47:05 +0000 UTCthat katlyn stark conversation with talisa always gives me goosebumps… i cried the first 3‑4 rewatches of that scene and i rarely cry at all. i don’t cry in real life and i almost never cry in movies or series but if i do it’s always for the same reason — when i see someone truly showing guilt and repent. that’s when i break. every time.
