Raised under one set of values for the first half of his life and raised under another, almost polar opposite, set of values for the second half of his life. Who knows what kind of issues that would cause for a person? It’s pretty difficult for us, essentially living under a value system mainly like the Starks, to understand Theon reverting to choices driven by the Ironborn value system.

Sansa is learning the realities of being much too close to an evil queen-mum Cersey and a terrible wannabe-king Joffrey. Through her ongoing trauma she builds her future path. I'd like to say: she plans to be a much better future queen in really every respect, as a true stateswoman, wise civil engineering strategist for one better day, come Winter, come Spring. But we can't see what's really going on inside her, and Sandor would not talk about it either. Maybe Tyrion will be able open that mystery up a crack some day soon?
