July 13 Update

I seem to be on top of things, which puts me in a weird scheduling situation going forward. The most recent TLS build (open to all patrons!) has the postgame near complete, and last week I posted the last of my future projects series. These are both things I've been looking toward for a while.

I'm sure some people will be thinking about version 1.0.0 and the big launch, but it's too early for that in multiple senses. The postgame isn't finished, other players are still flush with games from the summer sale, and I don't want to burn out. More about this after the postgame update is actually finished and public.

There are multiple things in progress that could potentially be exciting... or might not be. =/ If I talked about all the maybes that have passed over the years, these updates would end up disappointing. I guess all I'll say now is that I'm trying to keep working toward my future career whenever I have time between updates.

What else... would you guys want an option to buy my games through Patreon? Patreon is pushing this option hard lately, which I mostly ignore, but if people think it would be convenient for some hypothetical players, I could set up some pages for my completed games. In theory it would be a way to get standalone versions of my game without me needing to send links.

Giving people options is generally a good idea, IMO.

Only downside is time used setting things up. While you're right about the risk of NSFW content, I'm afraid that Patreon is probably one of the higher risk sites!

I would say unless there is a particular downside to selling the game through patreon like they take a huge cut of the profits or something it's probably better to have it available wherever you can just in case it gets forcibly removed from other platforms. That's unfortunately a real concern with nsfw media.
