The people of Wano think he's a kappa, a green- or blue-skinned Japanese mythological creature that lives in rivers, because there's hardly any fish-men in Wano. Edit: the reason why he survived eating the polluted fish could be because he's a puffer fish. Puffer fish eat stuff that contains a type of bacteria to make their own poison.

I have one question though, when you catch up to anime and start reading manga, have you planned how you will do the chapter readings? Personally when I watched Ruff do the manga, his pace was a bit too fast for my liking. I appreciate readers who take their time to analyze the chapters and maybe even throw couple theories of their own before going to next one (not saying Ruff wasn't doing that, he was just on go-go-go mode lol). My opinion is just a one drop of water in the ocean, but I want to hope.
