The carotid artery pumps blood at about ¾ of a liter per minute. Someone the size of Seth Green probably has 4 to 5 liters of body total. Plus, the blood would spray out at relatively high pressure causing it to cover a lot, kind of like a spray paint can. As for not having an available OR. A large hospital will typically have between 6 to 10 ORs. We know 3 are in use right now. The brain patient, the Nazi and the guy that Hahn is working on. The others may be having scheduled surgeries in progress or may not be equipped for cardiac surgery. This Happens. When I went to ER in 2007 for heart attack, they had to transfer me to another hospital because the hospital I was in didn’t have an OR equipped for cardiac surgery. They had to transfer me 12 miles to another hospital NAKED. Yes, I had to be completely naked because they were going to take me directly into the OR and they couldn’t have my clothing in there contaminating the OR. I was NOT happy about this. And yes, I was awake for the heart surgery. I’m no Doctor but from my Emergency Response training, you do NOT keep changing the gauze on a bleeding wound like Lexi is doing on Seth Green. If needed, you add more, but you don’t remove any until you are ready to make the repair. The blood clotting from the pressure applied to wound will stick to the gauze. Pulling the gauze off will reopen the wound. Aww, Seth Green dude died, but SG1 guy made it and paramedic made it. SG1 guys wife is a Gayle.

We all know that you need 3 semesters of computer science to be able to turn a computer off and back on again (which genuinely is 99% of what i have to “fix” at work tbh) - even though they played with the wires a bit the reset button is what fixed it here let’s be honest. Hahn really is very similar to Cristina. That’s probably why they don’t get on very well tbh. Both very driven surgeons who say what they think sometimes at the wrong time. Props to George for what he said to the white supremacist. I really love that scene. I think they’ve been playing too much into the “mark is a slimeball” stuff recently. He’s always been a bit slimy but before the last like 2 or 3 episodes I think it was presented more in a jokey way and in a “he’s actually a sweet guy underneath” which i feel like we’ve lost that a bit with some of the inappropriate comments he’s been making. I do think Baileys husband should have known what he was getting into. I was kinda more on Adele’s side with the richard stuff though so maybe i’m slightly biased. But i do think there’s a difference. Bailey is a resident still, essentially a student herself who also teaches others. She’s obviously going to be working a lot. Richard was Chief he could have easily reduced his surgery schedule.
