I had a lot of things to do this month in regards of my mom's condition.
I had to make sure her treament started as soon as possible, due to the aggressive nature of her tumor (GBM 4). She started treament this past friday the 25th, starting her first session of Chemotherapy and Radiation.
I also had to make sure the house was spotless. Chemo and Radiation lower the body's defenses, and normal stuff like a common cold can escalate to something worse, so... I cleaned the house, from head to toe, like four times, making sure it was more than just clean.
I also had to find the best resources to help us pay her treatment which is unimaginably expensive in the USA healthcare system. Thankfully, I managed to find what I was looking for, at least on that regard. I'm still looking for rental assistance, seeing I had to short my hours at my main job to assist my mother at home.
On to the good news.
Now that her treament schedule is set, and the only thing I have to do is (find rental assistance), I am going back to writing as before. I can say with certainty that 80% of what I had to do is complete, and what remains wont take as much from my time as the other things did.
