My mother was diagnosed with a Grade 4 glioblastoma (GBM) following surgery on March 27, we got the results yesterday.
• The tumor is IDH-wildtype (no IDH mutation)
• It is also MGMT-unmethylated, meaning it may respond less strongly to standard chemotherapy
• She is currently recovering and preparing to start radiation and chemotherapy to manage recurrence risk
The doctor says her life expectancy is between 12 to 18 months, maybe a little bit more, depending on how well she reacts to treatment.
I will update Dragon Ball today, at night. So from today onwards updates will return to their normal schedule.
