okay let's start the weekly report

First things first and most important, I passed my driving test, That means I don’t have to go back to driving class next week, so I can have more time to make videos.

well, You may notice that the title is "Next Week At KosoruCG", Why not "This week" is because I have to take a ride back to the city to see a dentist at noon tomorrow, which is Thursday, and I have discovered that my bone nail has come loose, so if nothing unexpected happens, my dentist will probably complain to me again because I stayed up late again（´・ω・｀） I didn't mean to disobey him, but sometimes I have too many things to do so I can't go to bed early.

Although I expected to be back on Friday, there are only two days left until the end of the week, and it is unlikely that I will be able to complete the new video, And I realized something obvious:"It seems unlikely that I can update at a fixed time", This is actually an obvious thing but I just noticed it now, "If each of your works is of different difficulty and length, how can you finish them all in the same amount of time?" That's a problem, or maybe not? Anyway, I just want to tell you that I may not be able to fix a certain time to upload new works, but I guess no one will sit in front of the computer all day long and press F5 to update the webpage and see if I have any new works.

I'm not sure why I'm talking about this, because it seems like this isn't the first time that my updates haven't followed the schedule. But I seem to have promised to update once a week at some point? or maybe not, I don’t remember（´・ω・｀）

Okay, let's get down to some serious planning.

What I currently have is "Open Season" and "With you", I predict that my next work will be "With you 02", We tested the new animation frame count in "Open Season 02", It looks great, but the river water still blew up my computer. Now we can go back to the room and play with Iliya. People who have followed me for a while will probably know one thing is that basically all my works are to test a certain function, One thing I didn't mention is what "With you" was testing. I can tell you right now that "With you" was testing a new "production process".

The works before "With you" were usually produced from an idea. But this vague concept lacks completeness, That means I might be able to design the first set of moves but get stuck on the second shot. Most of the reasons why I get stuck are due to insufficient detailed planning, such as awkward poses or wrong action design/wrong camera position. But for "With you" I first designed all the compositions I would use, the poses of the characters and where the camera would appear. It's a lot like when everyone draws a picture, they have a sketch, And now when I'm making a video I have ten sketches, They'll tell me what each frame should look like, which will speed up the production process and lead to better motion design and better shots.

That, my friend, That's why the camera placement and action design in "Open Season" look better, Basically it also accelerated my video production process, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have been able to complete 02 within six days after 01 appeared, "Open Season 02" is a relatively complicated video, but my production was sped up. I think it's because I drew all the sketches in advance and had a more complete plan.

Speaking of plans, I believe that everyone has been waiting for a long series for a while. Basically, there has been no more planned series for about half a year. The reason I mentioned in the previous weekly report, Currently I'm planning a nine episode series, the first episode of the series will be codenamed 0, not 1, so it will have episodes 0 through 8, Nine episodes in total.

I tested "Draw a sketch first and then make a video" for the first time in "With you", I think this concept is considered feasible in "Open Season", so I am currently editing the nine-episode storyline, and I think I will need about 60 concept drawings/sketches to complete this series. Considering there are nine episodes, it had to be fully planned as to what I wanted for each shot, And that's what I have to do while working on the "Open Season" and "With you" sequel.

So my current plan is to work on Open Season and With you while also working on concept sketches for the new nine-episode series, Because these two works are relatively easy, I can work on the nine-part series while still giving everyone some videos to watch so you guys don't get bored.

Basically, the important things have been talked about. In fact, I really want to talk about some miscellaneous things, but I have to catch the train at noon tomorrow, so maybe next time?
