2026-02-05 11:32:49 +0000 UTCThe roughest part of rewatching season 1 is knowing that Renee, who was presented as probably one of, if not THE most decent dude on the show(and Hoyt), is actually the villain the whole time... and that he wasn't even really Cajun 😐😭. Sometimes I'll forget and smile when he's on screen... until I remember and get mad lol...

2026-01-08 10:38:48 +0000 UTCThe scene with Lettie Mae and Tara reflects how so many people who centered their very existence preying upon the Christian generosity, guilt and obligation of others when they are in need, seem to lack that same compassion they demanded and felt entitled to when it comes to their dealing with others. Lettie Mae played the role of Tara’s vampire her entire life, so I guess it is fitting that this story plays out on a show about vampires.
