Microstory Contest Results + Bonus Announcement!
Added 2025-10-10 18:42:52 +0000 UTCThe micro story contest got off to a slow start, with only one entry for quite a while, but we picked up some serious steam in the last couple days! I want to give a massive thanks to every person who submitted an entry!
Below are shortened summaries of the entries I received. The bolded entries are those that I have chosen as the winner of each tier. (But keep reading after that for a BIG announcement!)
Free Member Entries:
OC uses tail to transfer blueberry expansion to another
Woman wakes up and fills her daily F.A.P. container
Rival 1920s scientists work to perfect a growth serum
Enjoying a meal at the "Love Handle Diner"
Supporter Entries:
Tied man must wait for his dom's chest to grow within reach
In the Lustlands: a woman is "blessed" with milk and a shrinking stature
A new roommate moves in and becomes the couch
Adventurer seeks the legendary femboy-creating monster girl
True BEliever Entries:
A couple discover (the hard way) that the man has been cursed to "emit" helium
A woman introduces her bound man to a size-increasing lubricant
The winners were chosen purely based on how different and fun I found them. That said, they were all fun to read over and consider turning into a quick microstory. Almost... too fun. How could I possibly reduce that awesome list of insane prompts down to just three?!
How?! I ask you.
Well, that brings me to the big announcement!
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TIME:
But first, the lore:
The purpose of this contest was to help me stave off burnout and take care of my creative drive. "By adding more work?!" I hear you all scream at me, rightfully. And to that, I say, "Yes. Working on the same few stories for an extended period of time can lead to my writing getting stale and boring. Don't want that at all. I want to be able to think up exciting new things all the time, regardless of my 'obligations.'"
So, I found an excuse to solicit a bunch of wild story ideas from my members, all for my own selfish ends! Mwahahaha! Though, I guess I'm still writing custom stories for people, so maybe not a supervillain-worthy plan... Oh well...
Right! Announcement!
Yeah... I couldn't choose, and I want to have plenty of material to turn to when I feel a need to switch things up.
So, I'm going to add all of these prompts to a new "Burnout Prevention Reserve." Whenever I feel the need to get weird or take a break, I'll knock out a quick microstory, drawn from that reserve. (The three winners are going to the top of the list, though.)
That ALSO means that I'm officially not ending this little thing. I'm so pleased with the prompts I got that I'm opening up a brand new perk for paid Patrons: Microstory requests! That's right! Going forward, anybody who is a Supporter Tier Patron or up can message me at any time to request a free microstory!
There are rules, of course. Namely, since this is free for paid Patrons at any time, there are zero guarantees that I'll get to anything not already on this list. Even this list will take a while. So expect to wait, and be sure to make the prompts as wild as possible to incentivize me to pick it up.
But, if you don't mind waiting, and if your idea is wild and crazy enough, I'll add it to the reserve. And you'll get a free 500-1000 word story. And I don't get burnt out.
And that's it, everybody! Thanks again for the submissions! I might be working on the first one or two in the next week as time allows. My mental health has frankly been in a pretty crappy state lately, so I'm just taking it one day at a time right now.
All microstories I complete will be posted here (unfortunately only for paid patrons due to TOS). However, free members can expect their microstories to make an appearance over on SwellTales or somewhere. I'll make sure those who requested them get access, at the very least. One way or another, even if I have to just get an email address.
That's it for now! All you paid patrons: feel free to start sending me micro requests as of today!
