One of the many things I carried over in Radfall from True Perks was the removal of the Cannibal perk. The perk always felt boring to me, both from a flavor perspective but also from a game mechanics perspective- food is already effectively infinite, so what's the point? In order to not leave a blank hole in the poster, I decoupled Lady Killer and Black Widow from gender, and allowed the player access to both. The downside to this, is that the perks are effectively identical. Better than cannibal, IMO, but still kinda boring. Well, I finall got around to fixing it...
This is basically a pre-release of the next radfall update for testing these changes. If you try it out, let me know what you think either here in the comments or in the discord server.
You're charming... and dangerous. Whenever you land the final shot on an enemy, you gain +1 Charisma for 30 seconds.
Whenever you land the final shot on an enemy, you gain +1 Charisma for 45 seconds.
Whenever you land the final shot on an enemy, you gain +1 Charisma for 60 seconds.
With License to Kill, I went for a vaguely Bond themed perk, with the idea of rewarding kill streaks. The idea here is to give a way to really buff charisma in combat (and for a very short period of time afterwards). On it's own it's not that great, however when stacked with some of the other charisma scaling perks in Radfall, it has potential to be quite cool. If it ends up being overpowered, I might need to scale the time back a little bit, or add some sort of sneak or silenced weapon restriction, although restricting it like that would gut a lot of functionality out of the perk.
Step into my parlor. Ignore 1 point of damage reduction per point of charisma, doubled on sneak attacks.
Ignore 2 point of damage reduction per point of charisma, doubled on sneak attacks.
Ignore 3 point of damage reduction per point of charisma, doubled on sneak attacks.
Straight up damage boost with a sneak attack bonus. Rather than give a flat damage bonus, the DR reduction actually means that against lightly armored targets this can be a pretty powerful damage boost - especially on a sneak attack. However against something like power armor or a deathclaw it won't help you as much, which is kind of the niche I'm going for- best on a spy type character, without being entirely useless outside of sneaking.
How to Install - this is a full prerelease, so you can just let this override (or overwrite entirely) your existing radfall. It is fully save-safe. It shouldn't matter whether you already have the perks or now, the new effects should just work.
How to Uninstall - just remove it and go back the the 7.1.0 version of radfall. Removing it is also fully save safe.
