Northern Camp - Port (Terrain)

Heeeya! Here's something new! So to be brief this port has 5 pieces + the boat. Which are:
1. Flat piece
2. 4 Poles piece
3. 2 Face Poles piece
4. 2 Side Poles piece
5. Stair Piece

Everything works in any combination and they can also be stacked on top of eachother to create some elevation (stairs included don't stack that well, but I'll be making some extra pieces, so I don't worry about it right now).

I'm also working on a bit longboat that could be used to transport troops, it'll fit right in with those docks and them boats.

You'll notice that there are no pre-supported files in the folder, simply because (if you're printing in resin) all the pieces are so flat you won't need to do anything but click "autosupport" anyway. If you're printing on FDM, let me know if you're running into any problems.

Oh and don't forget to check the "rewards post", the password just changed!

I see your point, gotta rework those planks, thanks for pointing that out!

Now that I've downloaded and looked at these in 3d there's one thing that's bugging me about the pier pieces: the log posts come right through the planks in the middle of a plank. The planks would have needed to have their ends cut off completely, then shaped and nailed back on, which just isn't how this kind of structure would be made (this isn't a fine finish kind of construction). If the posts were on the outside of the platform that would be much more realistic (Google search "wood pier"). Slightly better than the current model (if you don't want to increase the x/y dimensions) would be to have the posts between two planks (so each plank has a half-moon shape cut out lengthwise, leaving most of the plank intact). I probably wouldn't print this myself (I have a lot of sticks in my yard that I use to make this kind of thing) but it might bug other people that are looking for a bit more realism. I think this could be altered pretty easily by just dragging the posts outward a bit. Anything that's completely underneath without coming through the top looks fine of course.

I actually did this poll because I thought heavy fur clothing would be amazing to paint! I'll add it as a theme for next month's poll, I'm pretty sure it'll be great!

Very nice. Modular anything is always excellent. The proportions on these seem very playable. If you do ever lean toward a colder northern camp (the survey suggests no, sadly for me) perhaps sleds / sled-dogs / reindeer / feathered dinosaur / some other cold weather beast / fur clothing / etc might be appreciated by others.
