Read from right to left! Featuring my forest entity from this story.
The monstrous creature is rather certain you wouldn't just abandon it. You had stayed by its side even after finding out about its true nature - your fire watch coworker wasn't a human, but an ancient beast dwelling the national park for aeons. Not only did you not flee, but you indulged in its selfish demands, its perverted pleads to quench the tremendous loneliness before your arrival.
You mentioned going home for the winter. The post didn't require your attendance for the cold season, and you hoped to see your family after months of isolation. Of course, it knows you'll come back. Alas, the forest is so empty without your warmth. It promised to patiently wait your return, trusting you entirely, but...would it truly be so bad to pay you a visit?
Looking through the window, its mossy heart immediately melts at the sight of your smile. You are indeed enjoying yourself, sitting by with a friend, or perhaps relative, talking about nothing and everything.
Then, you sneeze. It's so cold in here, you remark, squeezing your shoulders. The other individual stands up, offering to bring you a thicker article of clothing.
The many eyes suddenly glint mischievously. Why, it knows just the thing you need to warm up! Without hesitation, the forest creature slides its vines through the forgotten, cracked window. God, it missed you so much. It'll make sure you'll be just as delighted by the reunion.
