[Aquarium Hybrids] Supporting Pet

With the staff's approval, you finally brought your emotional support pet to assist you at work. It was a win-win in your opinion: the furry companion had always loved a good swim, and the hybrids would encounter some more novelty in their otherwise ordinary life.

Just as you expected, it was a big hit with the smaller hybrids. The pufferfish creatures swam around your pet in utter fascination, taking turns to gawk at it until they finally built up the courage to offer scratches and pats. The octopus hybrids took great pleasure in testing its intelligence, observing its responses and clapping their tentacles together in amusement when the fur ball would mess up the task.

Your biggest worry were the larger hybrids; the sharks, the orcas, the more possessive inhabitants of the aquarium who often had to be separated due to their violent behavior whenever they perceived something as a threat to your affection. You held onto the small animal and hesitantly approached the first tank, eyeing the big, muscular monsters as they flicked their tails in boredom. Was it worth the risk? You could picture their sharp, razor teeth, and their long claws they used to slice and puncture prey. Perhaps it wouldn't have been wise to test their jealousy.

Before you could turn around, however, the small, chubby dog launched itself out of your arms and straight into the water. You let out a silent scream, ready to scramble after it, when you noticed the sudden, chaotic trashing of the beasts.

They seemed to be terribly afraid of your pet. It took several days to get them used to their new visitor. Who would've thought?
