Selfie in Three Parts & What’s on the Easel
Added 2023-12-11 22:00:06 +0000 UTCI brought out the watercolor and fountain pen today. It’s been awhile and there’s a great deal of satisfaction from completing a watercolor painting. I didn’t have a subject in mind. As I looked over my colors, the browns and greens really appealed to me. There’s an earthiness to the painting.
When the watercolor was dry, I used my fountain pen to bring ou some shapes and depth.
I’m wearing pigtails today, which were fun to draw!
A haiku:
Pigments in water
Floating, suspended in pools
Until they are dry.
