Thank you for the question. Occasionally, my IJP Whatever Happened to Pizza at McDonald's? will feature a sub-podcast such as This American Slice or Crust to Crust AM. These sub-podcasts are podcasts, since they do not meet the quality standards of an IJP. However, Pizzaply Media (a division of NPR) also produces audio entertainment programs (correctly abbreviated as AEPs). These are of a higher quality than podcasts, but they also do not quite reach the quality level of an IJP, since entertainment is necessarily less vital to society than investigation.

Could you please explain the level of quality connoted by Audio Entertainment Program, as compares to IJP and podcast? Also, is it customary to abbreviate this to "AEP"?
