We know an old gentleman of 78 here, who is an orchid specialist but knows about all kinds of trees and plants. I was just talking to him yesterday about plants and trees that can withstand a Japanese winter. Interesting man.

2024-04-08 23:08:34 +0000 UTCI enjoy your little cherry tree because this plant is not winter-hardy in my area. Way too cold but I do grow Japanese tree peonies and Japanese irises in my climate though I'm on the edge of cold tolerance for these plants.
