LYWTTA) Yuki You Traitor!

“Don’t worry, sect master. Even I couldn’t counter the old man just now. If not for Miss Rize here, I would have died.” Yuki knew there was nothing she nor her sect master could have done at that time.

“I should have still moved to take the attack. Without you, our sect….” Yuki’s sect master wished he had moved instead of standing there frozen in place. Once the spirit pressure filled the area, there was nothing he could do. He was forced to stand still and watch as Yuki struggled. 

“Miss Rize handled it, so it’s fine. Let’s head back to the sect.” Yuki did not want to dwell on the issue. 

Yuki left the sect master as well as the newcomer, Rize, back to the sect. After settling a few things, Yuki brought Rize to where the girls were training. 

“What are they doing?” Rize asked as she watched the girls below converging qi into their hands.

“They are practicing their magi qi. We have come up with a method of skipping techniques and using qi, whether it is demonic qi or spiritual qi, as a means of creating new skills on the go. Like this.” Yuki held out her hand and created a figure that resembled Rize dancing on the palm of her hand.

“This…. This would break all current understanding of techniques!” Rize was shocked at what she was seeing. To be able to use any kind of qi to create techniques on the fly was just shocking to her. 

“It only works if you are not trying to create any kind of weapon technique. Those will still require proper techniques. The same goes for body fortification techniques. This is more for creating techniques that will allow you to fight based on the scenario. Many techniques take time to use as well. Based on your knowledge you can do much more with magi qi when it comes to protecting qi.” Yuki explained.

“How did you even think of something like this?” Rize was very curious.

“There is a group called the Serpents of Time that use magic. I am not sure where they came from, but their abilities do not use spiritual qi but magic, which is the manipulation of mana. I am not sure if this world has mana, but it does have qi. I took the basis of what we call techniques, broke it down, and found that as long as you can split your qi from your body and still have control over it, you can create many new spells or skills with only a mental image of what you want. 

“In fact, Delia had once tried to do it herself, but she ran into a roadblock. I just kind of picked up where she left off and began working from there.” Yuki made the figure made of water fly into the and do a few spins before dispersing it into little droplets of water. “You can say that magi qi is something that will allow one to jump many realms in battle. But they would need a large amount of qi to really cast large spells. So the higher your cultivation, the larger the spells you can cast.”

“That is truly amazing.” Rize seemed to understand now why that person was so willing to protect this girl. She was truly a treasure one had to protect since she would be bringing a change to each higher realm she went to. 

“It took a while to grasp, but we were able to do it. My wives are also slowly getting their own understanding of how to accomplish what I can do. Once they do they will have their own methods of using magi qi different from my own.

“But you can also use runic casting as well to summon things.” Yuki held out her hand once more. This time, a small, runic circle appeared in her hand. From it, a small worm emerged. It was green with large eyes on it. It looked around in confusion before diving into the small little portal it had emerged from. “ I know this might not have looked all that impressive, but imagine it on a larger scale with a much bigger monster.”

“I really want to make you my master.” Rize was not joking. She really wished to follow Yuki! To be able to learn from her and grasp her abilities, she was willing to bow down to someone of a lower cultivation than her.

“Hehe. We can talk about it later. Didn’t you want to speak with Delia?” Yuki was not sure if it was appropriate to make Rize her disciple when she was someone in the immortal realm… The pact they made before was now void since they all agreed to teach the sect members how to use magi qi.

“Delia, someone is here to see you,” Yuki yelled out, instantly catching the girl’s attention. They all turned to look at the girl floating in the air. Everyone had curious eyes except Delia, whose eyes were filled with fear.

Delia got up, turned, and began running away at full speed, but not before yelling out: “Yuki, you traitor!”
