Steamed, stripped, boiled bleached and beaten. The creation of washi paper sounds like the life of a magistrates’ prisoner. At its heart, the paper maker’s patience is the key to the process. A simple system, never rushed. Whether destined to be an Imperial Decree, artistic calligraphy or a barkeep’s credit list, the same diligence is applied. Mix the pulp, dip into the vat. Stack, press and dry. Finally cut and judge the sheets. Some destined for sale, others back to steaming to be reincarnated again.

Here is our Washi Paper Makers map set. 12 maps plus six roof assets. Featuring interior, exterior, inferno and burnt variants as well as a Sweetfish Restaurant. This set gives a different artisan for the players to encounter. Paper for spell books, art or posters denouncing the Shogun, plenty of options.
