We are back with another The Golden Girls reaction. Today, we are watching From Here to the Pharmacy. Blanche has a new man...kinda?! A soldier comes back from the war looking to rekindle his romance with Blanche. Unfortunately, Blanche has no recollection of that man, making it for a funny first interaction. Elsewhere in the episode, Rose helps Sophia write her final will and testament which reveals a secret Dorothy was not prepared to hear! This episode was soooo funny! It's definitely one of my top episodes of the season so far!

2024-09-08 04:03:43 +0000 UTCAs shallow as blanche can be, (from what we've seen) This is (IMO) the only time we see her true heart being given to a man. Even though she's slightly turned away by him being a pharmacist, her heart is still pulled to him because she can see he's a beautiful person and makes a difference to the world. She wants to see him continue helping the world because she knows he can. This I find, is the hidden beauty of blanche that is commonly overlooked.
