We are back on the USS Enterprise this month with our first Star Trek movie: Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I'm so happy to be back with our original crew! This movie made me emotional and unbelievably happy. It had all the nostalgia of the series with the "wow" factor of a motion picture. One thing I didn't mention in my commentary is that I enjoyed the pacing of this movie, especially when introducing the new visual elements like the improved Enterprise. We got to indulge in the visual cinematic buffet of the Star Trek universe. This felt like a true space odyssey with the highest stakes ever encountered by our crew. What an adventure!
