(These details will prob. be included in Julian's future route modifications.)

Julian: What do you miss most about your childhood?

Should have TW this: underage rape

Not much... but there was a very short time where things just... made sense.

Ash was inside of me since I was very, very young. I barely remember a time without him. It made things really confusing, especially with my father's abuse, and my mother's downward spiral. I fought against Ash constantly.

Then, my father died and my mother went crazy. She started accusing me of being a monster like my dad. Eventually, she suggested I needed to use my evil to make up for his crimes.

Ash latched on that idea. I would be an anti-hero. I was more confused, unsure if that was something I wanted. Anti-heros were also bad guys, ya'know? Do the ends justify the means? All that stuff plagued my mind.

I was a teenager when it happened. I hated being at home, so I spent a lot of time on the streets. I was walking aimlessly, killing time. If I waited long enough, mom would either go to sleep, pass out drunk, or leave the house on one of her madness episodes.

I heard a female voice scream nearby for help.

I ran to the voice and found a very young girl with a knife to her throat, clothes torn off her body. She must have been around twelve. A man four times her age was raping her. The knife was cutting into her neck, and blood was dripping down her exposed chest.

I froze. I'd never seen anything like that. I wanted to help, but I didn't know what to do. I couldn't make my body move.

Ash asked for control. And I gave it to him. He killed the man and saved the girl.

The girl clung to me like I was her savior. She cried and thanked me and was afraid to leave my side. I felt so guilty and confused. I didn't know what to do with her. She didn't know where she lived, I'm guessing cause of the fear and trauma put her in shock.

Against Ash's wishes, I called the cops. I didn't know what the fuck to do with a corpse.

The cops came... and to my surprise, they treated me like I was a fucking hero.

The guy I killed was a literal serial killer they'd been chasing for years. He would have killed that child, too. Ash saved her life and I got all the credit. They took me and the girl to the police station, asked me basic questions, filled out some paperwork, and then I was let go with a pat on the fucking back.

It was self-defense, defense of a minor. I was a hero. The girl's parents sent me gifts to thank me. They invited me to a fucking dinner with them, and sent me a Christmas card later that year.

It felt fucking great.

Everything made sense. I suddenly had a purpose. All the bullshit of my childhood suddenly meant something.

The world was corrupt and rotting. Ash gave me the power and confidence to protect the weak, weak people like my mom, weak people like my childhood self, weak people like that little girl. I could burn away the rot. I could make the world a better place for all the innocent people.

Ash was a fucking GIFT. A superpower. I was sure of it. I wish I was still that sure.

Sebastian, favorite memory you have of your twin? Or any embarrassing stories of him?

My favorite memory of Alexander would include my sister, Isabella, too. We were very little, maybe around ten. Alexander and I were training all evening. We came inside late one evening, exhausted and ready to sleep.

As we passed by my sister's (Isabella) room, we heard some strange noises. We peaked in her room, and saw her training herself, mimicking some of the things we had been taught earlier that week.

She explained that our mother refused to let her train simply because she was a girl. I was confused - why should that matter? - but Alexander was absolutely furious. That was the first time I'd seen him THAT angry, and it's pretty rare even today.

So, he told Isabella if she wanted to train, we would train her. And we did. For years, we always spent our limited free time with her, and I loved it. We grew a lot closer, all three of us.

As for embarrassing stories...

Alexander is a very, very deep sleeper, and he can sleep anywhere... and I mean, anywhere. We were endurance training in the wilderness for a few days, learning survival skills with one of our trainers. We were up all night working on various tracking and navigation skills, making fires by hand, hunting our meals, and so on. The trainer and I went into our tents to sleep before dawn, but Alexander was hungry, so he stayed up to cook some food before bed.

I woke up late the next day to find him outside, sleeping on the grass, directly underneath the sun.

Oh, did I mention this was in Colombia? That's a country right on the equator, if you didn't know. It was some serious survival training in the summer while our parents handled some... business deals.

His face was so sunburned, his skin matched his hair.

If that wasn't bad enough, all we had with us to help the sunburn was Vaseline. You know, that gooey, sticky, yellowish lubricant stuff?

He had to wear this enormous sombrero to stay out of the sun while his face was covered in thick lubricant for two days straight as we worked our way back home. He looked so ridiculous it was hard not to laugh.

Don't tell him I told you this!!!!

And my favorite question so far...

What’s one piece of advice you wish you would’ve gotten earlier in your life?

Sebastian: If you don't pursue your dreams, you may lose your chance.

Alexander: Don't live your life to please others.

Julian: Don't obsess about the things you cannot control. It's hard to let go once you start.

Brandon: Never risk what's most important to you.

Quinn: Just because people don't understand you, doesn't mean you're broken.
